Highlights and Updates
SHS Color Guard try outs are March 29th after school. If your student would like to sign up, please have them do so in the office.
Attention DC Travelers: There will be a mandatory parent/student meeting on Monday evening at 7:30pm in the MS Cafeteria. All travelers must attend with a parent.
SMS will begin IAR ELA State testing next week. March 28-30, 2023. IAR Math State testing will begin after Spring break, April 12-14, 2023 and April 17-19, 2023.
Please ensure you student is coming to school with their computers charged. Please be sure they are using the school supplied power cord for their computers. Several have been using a different power source and ruined their computers.
April 5, 2023, is a 2:05pm dismissal for Easter Break. Students return on April 11, 2023.
A “Family Pass” is available for purchase from the HS office for $75.00. This will get allow anyone in your immediate family (living in your home) admission to our SW home game sporting events. You must present the card to get into the event without an additional charge.

Every Friday we encourage all students to wear their green and gold colors to support the sport teams throughout the year. Let’s go Birds!!
Fridays are “hat days” at the MS. Students may bring $1 or pay two claw cash to wear a hat for the day
